Bring Studio Kiku to Saint John

Saint John is an available franchise territory. It is a new studio opportunity: you would open a Studio Kiku studio here, rather than buy one that is already operating.

Each territory is laid out in the franchise agreement, and it will vary depending on location.

No Studio Kiku studio operates in Atlantic Canada yet.

Studio Kiku has already done the research on Saint John. Here is what the 2021 Census shows.

Opening in New Brunswick means, among other things:

• Register the business name with New Brunswick's Corporate Registry and register for HST, which is 15% here
• Operate the laser to the ANSI Z136 standard, as New Brunswick's General Regulation under the Occupational Health and Safety Act requires
• Register with WorkSafeNB once you have three or more workers
• Check the city's zoning, business licence and permit rules for the space before you sign the lease

New Brunswick's Franchises Act requires that you receive the disclosure document at least 14 days before you sign the franchise agreement or pay anything toward it.

You find the location and sign the lease, once we've approved both the site and the lease. To be approved, the site should be a visible retail space with easily accessible parking.
