Bring Studio Kiku to Winnipeg
Studio Kiku is expanding across Canada. We're looking for a motivated operator to bring our laser tattoo removal model to Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Winnipeg is an available franchise territory. It is a new studio opportunity: you would open a Studio Kiku studio here, rather than buy one that is already operating.
Each territory is laid out in the franchise agreement, and it will vary depending on location.
No Studio Kiku studio operates in Manitoba yet.

Manitoba
Opening in Manitoba means, among other things:
- Register the business with the Manitoba Companies Office and register for GST, and for RST if it applies to what you sell
- Register the studio with Manitoba's Health Protection Unit. Laser studios are personal service premises, and a public health inspector decides whether a health permit is needed
- Install, use and maintain the laser to the ANSI standards Manitoba's Workplace Safety and Health Regulation requires, and make sure staff hold first aid certification
- Check whether you need coverage from the Workers Compensation Board of Manitoba
Manitoba's The Franchises Act requires that you receive the disclosure document at least 14 days before you sign the franchise agreement or pay anything toward it.
Site
You find the location and sign the lease, once we've approved both the site and the lease. To be approved, the site should be a visible retail space with easily accessible parking.
The studio needs a reception desk, a waiting area, an accessible washroom and a laser room of at least 16 by 12 feet. See what opening a studio involves, along with training and support after you open.
