Bring Studio Kiku to St. Catharines

Opening in Ontario means, among other things:

• Register the business in Ontario and register for HST, which is 13% here
• Check the city's zoning, business licence and permit rules for the space before you sign the lease
• Follow Ontario's Occupational Health and Safety Act for the laser: training for everyone who uses it, and a competent person to supervise its use
• Register with the WSIB within ten days of hiring your first worker

Ontario's franchise law, the Arthur Wishart Act, requires that you receive the disclosure document at least 14 days before you sign the franchise agreement or pay anything toward it.
