Bring Studio Kiku to Halifax
Studio Kiku is expanding across Canada. We're looking for a motivated operator to bring our laser tattoo removal model to Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Halifax is an available franchise territory. It is a new studio opportunity: you would open a Studio Kiku studio here, rather than buy one that is already operating.
Each territory is laid out in the franchise agreement, and it will vary depending on location.
No Studio Kiku studio operates in Atlantic Canada yet.

Nova Scotia
Opening in Nova Scotia means, among other things:
- Register the business with the Nova Scotia Registry of Joint Stock Companies and register for HST, which is 14% here
- Check whether you need WCB Nova Scotia coverage. Employers in mandatory industries register within 10 days of hiring a third worker
- Follow Nova Scotia's Occupational Health and Safety Act, which makes the employer responsible for the training and supervision staff need to work safely
- Check the city's zoning and permit rules for the space before you sign the lease
Nova Scotia has no franchise disclosure law. Studio Kiku gives you the same disclosure document it gives franchisees in the provinces that do.
Site
You find the location and sign the lease, once we've approved both the site and the lease. To be approved, the site should be a visible retail space with easily accessible parking.
The studio needs a reception desk, a waiting area, an accessible washroom and a laser room of at least 16 by 12 feet. See what opening a studio involves, along with training and support after you open.
