How much does PMU tattoo removal cost?

Brow removal, $239 per session. Lip blush removal, $250 per session. Tattooed freckle removal, $200–$500. Test spots are $50 and will be deducted from the cost of the procedure if you decide to go through with it. We offer a 20% discount if you purchase a package of 3 sessions. GST is not included in the prices listed above.

How many sessions will it take to remove my PMU?

Our clients normally see significant fading after 1-2 sessions. On average, clients require anywhere between 3-6 sessions for complete removal. Each client is different, however, and results vary from person to person.

Will the laser scar my skin?

Accepted Answer

No, the PicoWay laser, operated by a certified Studio Kiku technician, will not cause scar tissue to form during the laser tattoo removal process.

How soon can I expect to see results?

You'll most likely see results right away, but the real fading happens gradually over the course of 1-2 months after your first session.

Will the pigment turn red, orange or yellow during removal?

Accepted Answer

PMU pigment often includes warm undertones that are left behind after being targeted by the laser. We aren't able to predict whether your PMU will turn colours or not during the process, but we can do a test spot which will normally be a good indication of what to expect.

Can red, orange or yellow pigment be removed?

Accepted Answer

The PicoWay can target most colours including red, orange and yellow. We've had great success removing warm tones however, there have been cases when we aren't able to remove the pigment completely.

Can I wear makeup after my treatment?

Yes, you may apply makeup to the treatment area after 12 hours.

Should I discontinue any products before treatment?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You should discontinue products containing retinols (Retin-A, Differin, etc.), or irritating skin products on the treatment area(s) 1 week prior to treatments to avoid increased redness and irritation.

I just got PMU done. How long do I have to wait to remove it?

We recommend waiting at least 12 weeks after your PMU session before starting the removal process.

I just had my brows laminated or tinted. When can I get laser removal?

For best results we suggest waiting until the lamination / tinting has completely faded before getting laser removal.

Is it possible to laser only a small portion of my brows?

Accepted Answer

Depending on your unique case it may be possible to laser only a portion. We charge flat rates for brow removal, whether it's a small spot or the entire surface area.

Can I get laser treatment while pregnant or breastfeeding?

Accepted Answer

No. It's best to postpone laser treatments until after you have given birth and have completely stopped breastfeeding.

Do I have to avoid sun exposure?

Yes, we recommend protecting the treatment area from the sun for two weeks before & after your laser session.
