Tattoo removal in Kelowna
Kelowna was the fastest-growing metro area in Canada between 2016 and 2021, adding 14% to its population. A lot of that came from people moving up from Vancouver and over from Calgary, and they arrived with the expectations of the cities they left. Growth has since cooled sharply, to about 1.2% in the year to July 2025, but the city those arrivals built is still here.
The Okanagan runs on tourism, wine and a tech sector that now counts several hundred companies, with UBC Okanagan and Okanagan College adding roughly 17,000 students between them. The tattoo scene has grown with the population, and the Okanagan Tattoo Show ran its twelfth edition in 2026 with more than 175 artists.
