Have you been wasting your money doing tattoo removal? Are you not seeing the results that you were looking for? Well, if that’s the case, stick around. I have five reasons why your tattoo probably isn’t fading like you had hoped it would.
There’s so many reasons why your tattoo’s probably not fading like you hoped. Here are the top five reasons. Reason number one, you’re not waiting long enough in between sessions. We normally recommend a minimum of six to eight weeks in between sessions. That’s a minimum amount of time, but honestly, I normally recommend waiting at least three or four months in between sessions. Waiting longer is going to allow your body more time to break down the broken pigment particles. You’re going to spend less money, you’re gonna go through less pain and you’re gonna see just as good of results as you would if you kept coming in every six to eight weeks and hammering away on that tattoo. So my number one recommendation to see better results is to wait a little bit longer in between sessions.
Reason number two of why you’re not seeing results is you may be using the wrong laser. Lasers are not all created equally. Some lasers are awesome and others are complete garbage. There are lots of lasers out there, so it’s important to pick the right laser. And just because somebody markets it as the best laser out there, that doesn’t mean it’s the best laser out there.
Number three on the list of top five reasons why you’re not seeing the fading you were looking for is that the laser technician isn’t experienced. You can have the right equipment but not know how to use it. If you’re using the right equipment but you’re not seeing the results you were looking for, it may be because the laser technician isn’t experienced. Reason number four, you may have scar tissue in your tattoo and that can be slowing up the process a lot.
it all the time people come in with tattoos that have scar tissue in them and the scar tissue is usually created during the tattoo application. Some people come in after getting laser at other studios and they’re burned and they have scar tissue from that but most of the time when people come in and they have scar tissue it’s because they got that scar tissue when the tattoo was applied.
And we’re able to recognize that. And what we do when we see the pigment isn’t fading as quickly as other areas that aren’t scarred, what we’ll do is we’ll break down that pigment with the Pico Way Resolve. That’s a separate hand piece. It’s not one that’s used for tattoo removal. It’s used to break down scar tissue. It’s used to smooth out the texture of the skin. We actually use that same hand piece when we do facials, when we do laser facials rejuvenation, that sort of thing. But in some instances, we’ll use it to break down scar tissue. And when we break down the scar tissue, the pigment will no longer be encapsulated in that scar tissue and it will be free to fade away into your body. So that’s reason number four. If your tattoo isn’t fading, you may have scar tissue in your tattoo and it has to be broken down. It’s not just going to magically release that pigment one day the scar tissue has to be broken down before that pigment fades away.
Number five – last but definitely not least, the reason why you may not be seeing the fading that you’re looking for is because you’re not healthy. In order to fade a tattoo when you’re getting laser tattoo removal, you have to be healthy. If your body is not working properly, if your immune system is taxed for whatever reason, then you’re not going to see the fading that you were hoping to see. So it’s very important when you come in to get laser, you should be healthy, be rested, should be hydrated, your body should be fueled with the proper foods, you should be exercising, and you should also just be a happy person. All of those things will boost your immune system and it will help your body get rid of those broken pigment particles.
Those are the five reasons why you’re probably not seeing the results that you were hoping to see during your laser tattoo removal journey. If there are any other facts that you think are worth mentioning, please put them down in the comments. I would love to hear your opinion. Thanks again for watching the Fated Podcast. I will see you again next time.
